Some types of lightweight structures only work if the shape resulting from the structural behavious is maintained. With today's tools, it is possible to model any shape, but to create the right shape for these structures, static intuition and experience with the properties of the structure is needed. Digital simulations can also be used to gain this experience and intuition. The aim of this paper will be an introduction of Kangaroo plugin which enables us to simulate various structures in order to explore their shape possibilities.

Některé druhy lehkých konstrukcí funkgují jen, když je dodržen tvar, který je výsledkem statického působení. Pomocí dnešních nástrojů je možné namodelovat jakýkoliv tvar, avšak pro vytvoření správněho tvaru pro tyto konstrukce je potřeba statická intuice a zkušenost s danými vlastnostmi konstrukce. Pro získání těchto zkušeností a intuice může sloužit i digitální simulace. Předmětem tohoto příspěvku bude představení pluginu Kangaroo s jehož pomocí lze simulovat různé konstrukce za účelem ověření jejich tvarových možností.
